Salary: £12,090 rising to £14,625 after three months with a bonus potential to earn a further £500 per year

Job Description

Teleperformance in Bristol currently has five permanent, full time inbound vacancies for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join a service we operate for a leading UK financial services regulator.

We operate a Consumer Helpline where the main purpose of the Customer Service Advisor role is to act as an initial point of contact for consumers who may have a complaint about a financial firm or need help with financial products or services. We do not handle individual complaints but guide consumers in the right direction to enable them to deal with the issues raised. The financial services regulator is an independent non-governmental body, which aims to maintain efficient, orderly and clean financial markets. It also helps consumers achieve a fair deal.

The Selection Criteria

Experience

• Strong customer service experience within a contact centre environment.
• Experience in giving information and guidance to callers
• Experience of working within a financial services organisation and/or a working knowledge of at least one of mortgages, investments, insurance, pensions or tax credits are preferred.
• Experience in giving advice work preferred but not essential
• Excellent questioning skills

Qualifications

• Good general education with GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) an essential

• Able to work effectively and accurately under pressure
• Articulate, with good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Able to understand and relay complex information in a clear, concise manner and in easy to understand terms
• Numerical skills, computer literate
• Negotiation skills, questioning skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
